As many as 14 players could leave Barcelona this summer with club president Joan Laporta plotting a huge revolution at the Camp Nou.

Barcelona’s title challenge is effectively over for another season after a 3-3 draw with Levante on Tuesday.

Leaders Atletico Madrid are on course lift the trophy for the 11th time if they can win their remaining two games of the season although Real Madrid can still deny them in the final week of a tense title race.

It leaves Barcelona facing a huge summer and the club’s perilous financial position means they must offload before they can strengthen their squad.

Mundo Deportivo report Philippe Coutinho, Samuel Umtiti, Miralem Pjanic, Martin Braithwaite, Junior Firpo, Neto and Matheus Fernandes are among those that will be put up for sale or made available for loan or exchange deals.

The club remain confident however that Lionel Messi will extend his contract at the club for another two years – albeit with a ‘substantial reduction’ in his salary.

Ronald Koeman’s future is also still be resolved. The Dutchman has one more year on his contract but the report adds he has come under increasing pressure after watching the club’s title challenge fall apart.

Barcelona are looking at a number of free agents heading into the summer transfer window with Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola confirming last month Eric Garcia is poised to return to the Catalan giants.

Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum is also a preferred option for boss Ronald Koeman with Sergio Aguero and Memphis Depay the options in attack.
