Governors Graves, Sebelius to campaign with Laura Kelly Monday

Demonstrating the historic bipartisan support for Senator Laura Kelly’s campaign for governor, former Republican Governor Bill Graves and former Democratic Governor Kathleen Sebelius will hit the campaign trail with Kelly the day before Election Day.

“This is a critical election for Kansas. The stakes couldn’t be higher,” said Graves. “Laura has integrity, and I know she will bring Kansans together regardless of party to solve problems.”

The group will campaign together Monday in an effort to encourage Kansans to get to the polls Tuesday, November 6th, and vote.

“This election will impact Kansas for generations,” said Sebelius. “Laura is the only choice to lead Kansas and end the Brownback-Kobach experiment for good.”

Kelly has been endorsed by all living Kansas governors, expect Sam Brownback. That includes Republican Governors Bill Graves and Mike Hayden and Democratic Governors Kathleen Sebelius, John Carlin, and Mark Parkinson. She has also been endorsed by more than 50 other Republican leaders

“No one can sit on the sidelines in this election,” said Kelly. “We must work together to make sure all eligible voters get to the polls. It’s time to rebuild Kansas.”
